In 2019, we were named as the Top Training Provider in Wales by the School Leavers Awards. The College was also ranked second in the whole of the UK for the quality of teaching, fourth for the learner experience, fifth for providing personal support and tenth for our assessment and feedback. In the same year, our Sixth Form Academy Hub at Neath College also gained an award for improving the student experience at the Education Building Wales Awards.

In 2020, the College stormed the awards again, being named as the Top Training Provider in Wales, one of the Top Ten Training Providers in the UK and shortlisted for three categories; the Top Apprenticeship Provider in the UK; Best Further Education College for Apprenticeship Training in the UK, and Best Learning Experience.

The School Leaver Awards celebrate the top employers and training providers for school leavers on apprenticeship programmes.
